• School Education PMU
Government of Gujarat has developed a policy for providing assistance to Startups/ Innovation. Under this scheme, any individual/ group of individuals having innovative idea/ Concept will be eligible and/ or Universities/ education institutions, Incubation Centre/ PSUs/ R&D Institutions/ Private and other establishments will be eligible as an institution to support and mentor to innovators as approved by Committee. Startups in an economy's technology sectors is an important indicator of technological performance for several reasons.

Eligibility Criteria
  • To be eligible to take benefit of the Policy, a school shall be
    • Based in Gujarat
    • Government / Grant-in-Aid / Private school
  • Any person up to the age of 35 years, who is,
    • A school student of Foundational / Preparatory / Middle / Secondary level (Up to Class 12)
    • A Diploma / Vocational / Undergraduate / Postgraduate / Doctoral student or an alumna / alumnus
    • Any dropout from school / institute / university
Available Benefits
  • Any dropout from school or Student from class 9 to 12 can avail the PoC/Prototype/IPR support by registering as the Policy beneficiary at educational institution level.
  • Maximum INR 20,000 per PoC/Prototype /Innovation 
  • Exposure to Tinkering Lab, Innovation Lab, Incubation Centres
  • Large scale sensitization, events and programs for developing Scientific Mindset
  • Collective/Community level support system and activities
  • Capacity Building
